This past week I tipped my toe in the podcast/interview/news video world as we started a new series called the Dirt Diaries. This idea is certainly not a new one by any means but it is going to be a fun one as it moves forward and through the year.
So what is the Dirt Diaries? The Dirt Diaries is a show that's going to cover just about anything that has to do with racing and our racing community. For example the first show covered what races Mason Aaron and I look forward to attending to in the 2020 race season. We also break down a little bit of the uncertainty and what we like about each of the thirteen tracks that are covered on the site.
Was the first show perfect? Heck no! We had lagging issues which made for a few odd conversation moments but the final cut will address those issues. What makes it fun though is that it's a learning process and it's something that can constantly be adjusted to make run more smooth and come off as an easier listen. This upcoming shows will feature such topics as the different routes that the Dakota Classic Modified Tour can take, what motivates us to get to the track every week, how to take good racing photos/video, and when the time comes we will add segments of weekly racing recaps and previews of races for the upcoming weekend. Will it ever be perfect? No, but it certainly will be an entertaining process and program.
