After a wild opening weekend the state wide power rankings have been tabulated and organized. There were four races this weekend with Dacotah Speedway, Devils Lake Speedway, Southwest Speedway, and Nodak Speedway all holding a race. All but Nodak Speedway got their full night of races in with Nodak only running their IMCA stock car feature as the rest were lost to a rain out. This threw a slight wrench into things as it jumbled some of the points up. However, here is the opening weekend's power rankings!
Be patient as there were only three races that were completed and it will take a few weeks before the points alga rhythm will balance itself out. The rankings are also based off of results not emotional feelings and are not meant to be an one week view but rather a multiple week view. This upcoming week there are four races Friday (Dacotah, Red River, Williston Basin, and River Cities), two on Saturday (Williston Basin and Devils Lake), and one on Sunday (Nodak).
***The following classes did not receive points due to not racing or completing their features: 410 sprints, 305 sprints, lightning sprints, late models, IMCA hobby stocks, sling shots, and mini stocks. Due to Nodak completely dropping their features (besides the stock cars) those classes will not receive points for that night. This is due to the alga rhythm that is used to determine weekend points.
