The Shake Down Incentive Program has had it's hands full the last week and a half and the driver situation has certainly began to shape up as two more drivers have claimed their entries for the 2020 Shake Down Incentive Program. The two drivers claiming their entries are Jeff Provinzino and Ryan Dahl. Now this is an interesting pairing of drivers as one is a returning driver who hasn't participated in the past five years and the other is a fairly new late model driver participating in the Stampede for their first time. However, both will be ones to watch for their own reasons.

First, there is the returning veteran Jeff Provinzino of Hibbing Minnesota. Jeff is a driver who has done just about everything when it comes to racing Wissota Late Models. One of his many accolades includes being one of the few three time Silver 1000 champions. This is a feat that only a few have accomplished in the entire history of the race. Speaking of three peat victories, Jeff has managed to win the Stock Car Stampede three times with the last one being in 2008. Jeff last raced the Stampede in 2013 which qualifies him for the Shake Down as he hasn't raced in the past 5 years. The addition of Jeff instantly raises the competition level of the field of late models.

Second, is the new driver Ryan Dahl of West Fargo, North Dakota. Ryan is a second year late model driver who brings a wild card edge to the field of drivers this year. Being relatively new to late models, Ryan falls under the wild card category as he literally will be racing under house money. The incentives from the Shake Down Incentive Program covers most of the expenses for the weekend which makes him racing for free. Ryan will be hitting the track with nothing to lose and can be a wild card driver that many should keep an eye.
So with the two recent entries, the Shake Down Incentive Program is currently half full. The final three entries are still first come first served so drivers should not wait for the last week to make a decision on if they are interested in participating as that may be too late. Drivers, the incentives are: both entry fees being covered for car/driver, a travel stipend (no less than $100), and other racing based incentives that can be earned for both nights.
