North Dakotan's Are Making An Impact At Bristol

The hot topic for the week and for quite some time now has been the Bristol Dirt Nationals. The entire dirt track racing world and a good chunk of the asphalt racing world has shifted their eyes to see what type of madness would take place when the rubber hit the dirt at the Last Great Coliseum. To say the least it has been a smashing success so far and the state of North Dakota has made a positive impact so far to say the least.

The North Dakota drivers have had an excellent showing so far. The highlight has had to be sport mod driver Brady Bjella as he took an amazing last lap pass win and followed that up with a third place finish in his second feature. His performance should earn him the pole position for the sport mod main event. Scott Bintz also has flexed on the large field of sport mods and finds himself eighteenth in sport mod passing points. Josh Eberhardt had a strong showing as well as he finished eighth in his respective mod feature.

Another group of drivers getting a lot of praise and attention for their efforts and for their cars have been the Gartner brothers. Scott and John Jr. were the talk of the stock car portion of the broadcast as their Mopars have garnered a lot of attention. Scott finished eighth in his feature and John finished a little further back. However, these two have received a lot of positive attention from across the nation for not only their unique Mopars but also for their unique car hauler which is an old 1970s International. Nothing fancy but it does scream old school cool.

Finally, not to be forgotten are those individuals off the track who are making a big impact. First, Corey Litton has been rock solid all week. Getting the call up out of the bullpen, Litton did an outstanding job stepping in to announce. To say that he was a pleasant suprise to hear on the broadcast would be an understatement. Not to say that the other announcers aren't of superb quality but rather it was an excellent display of abilities on the mic and proves that Corey can announce with the best of them even on short notice! Second, is Mike Spieker and Speedway Shots. Mike does such an excellent job with his craft and work and he has been in his element all week. Finally, is Adrienne Spieker and her work with Race XR. The state actually has a good number of high quality videographers including Brandon Beeter, Mason Eisenzimmer, and Adrienne. Her work this week has top notch and definitely needs to be acknowledged.

Overall, the Bristol Dirt Nationals has been extremely intriguing and exciting so far and to say the least North Dakota has left a lasting impact so far! Good luck to all of our drivers with the remainder of the week!
