The Jamestown Speedway has been a long standing fixture of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour and this year looks to be no different as they will be the starting point of the 32nd Annual Dakota Classic Modified Tour. The Jamestown Speedway has been traditionally the kick off location of the "Turr" but last year the Turr started out at the Red River Valley Speedway due to Covid schedule changes. This track has consistently provided some of the most exciting racing action and has provided some of the largest fields of cars in Turr history.
The drivers and fans are always in for some excellent racing action and have been treated to some great racing in the past. The race fans also are often treated to some of the biggest stock car fields on the entire Turr as the stock car drivers from the eastern part of the state like visit over for the opening night before the Turr heads west. The stock cars this year look to be an absolute gunslinger battle of some of the best in the nation, who just happen to be some of the best in the state. Yes, with stock car counts being high over at Fargo, the fans will be in for a definite treat as Trent Grager, Brennan Borg, and Travis Robertson will represent the east while Dalton Flory, Travis Ulmer, Jake Nelson, and Mike Hagen. Don't worry Jamestown fans, you still have somebody representing you as well as Scotty Gartner in his red zero Mopar will be representing you. Then throw in the travelers and it is going to be an all out battle for the big win.
Looking at the IMCA modifieds, it looks to be another great race as the racing in this division has never seemed to fail to be an awesome nail biting race. With the previous years always seeing traffic come into play during the features, Jamestown always guarantees to provide a wild and fast paced feature finish. The Arneson's are always lightning fast and new face Kollin Hibdon has proved to be a very formidable opponent as he won has won multiple races at Jamestown this year. The most notable victory was his performance at the Don Gumke Racers Memorial. Yes, there will no shortage of action in this class as just about anyone is capable of taking the big win this year!
