Car Shows Bring Jubilation and Excitement For All

Writer: AdminAdmin

Every year the race season always kicks off with a car show or a mall show of some sort for the drivers and fans to show off and to look at the new racecars for the year. Last night was the annual Kirkwood Mall Car Show move in night in Bismarck and I was fortunate enough to be able to assist in the move in. At first I was contemplating on skipping the move in and setup as my wife and I had just returned home from Mexico just a few hours prior to the move in and we were exhausted. However, I'm extremely glad we hopped into the car and made our way to the mall to lend a helping hand and to catch up with our drivers and friends. Car shows and mall shows serve a vital role in how each season goes as they are multi-purposed.

First, these are prime opportunities for race tracks and promoters to hype up the new season and to excite the die hard fans. Truly, getting to see all the shiny new racecars gets your heart fluttering! At last nights move in, I overheard random shoppers saying statements like, "Wow! The racecars look really good this year!" and, "I can't believe it's race season already!" Also, it pumps the fans up as it catches their attention and gets their minds back on racing.

Second, it allows the fans to get up close to the cars that they see each week at their local tracks. This allows the fan a sense of realism to the car and driver. Being able to be up close allows them to get a sense of what the drivers are driving and gives the fans a sense of the amount of time and skill that are poured into these cars.

Finally, it really gives the drivers a chance to take pride of their rides. Watching them push their cars in last night there were a few things I noticed. We already know that racecar drivers have a lot of pride in their rides but watching them last night you could tell that there was something different. There was pure pride being displayed as they pushed their cars into the mall. It didn't matter if their car was a legend or a modified they all walked a little taller and a little more prouder. Watching them you could see the dedication and the satisfaction of the hours, days, and weeks that they put into getting the car ready for this day. Truly, it's a neat experience to witness.

So wherever you are you definitely need to head out to your local car show, mall show, or any other car display. There are a lot of great looking cars out there that will definitely catch your attention and their drivers would definitely appreciate the compliments for their efforts. So get out there, go support and enjoy your local car show!
