After an extremely busy weekend as the Invitational Season kicked off the Stampede Shake Down saw its fourth entrant register. This year has been a very hectic and crazy and well the interest in the Shake Down has had days where multiple entries have came in and stretches of days where nothing has happened. Well, we had a good weekend not only on the track from our current entries but also in getting a new entrant. The latest entrant hales from Gettysburg, South Dakota and has been in the late model division the past couple years. The fourth entrant in the 75s ride is none other than Mike Jager! Mike has primarily raced in South Dakota, so this will be a real treat for race fans as he ventures north for his first ever appearance at the Jamestown Speedway in a late model. Mike brings a solid history of racing the super stock division and has been trying his hand in the late model division the past couple of years. Mike has a track championship at the Black Hills Speedway to his name and carries a strong reputation of being a consistent driver. We look forward to having another excellent driver joining us this year at Stock Car Stampede!
With the addition of Mike the Stampede Shake Down Incentive Program has four drivers participating. What this means to the other drivers who may be interested in partaking is that only two spots remain available. It still is a first come, first served program so if you wait too long you will miss out on your opportunity in partaking in the Shake Down. If you are interested in being a part of the Shake Down Incentive Program and qualify under for it please contact or message the Shake Down facebook page or email thedakotadirt@gmail.com.
