Bombardo and Deschamp are Tougher Than Dirt

As the Nodak Speedway dust settled Sunday night, it was Brandon Bombardo and Gabriel Deschamp who were left standing tall. The Tougher Than Dirt Tour ran six straight nights and in two different countries for the IMCA Hobby Stocks and the IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds. A total of fifty-seven IMCA Hobby Stocks and fifty-five IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds took part in this year's tour and to say that they left everything on the track would be understatement. The racing was first from the first nights green flag all the way to the last checkered flag and there is a lot to be said about that.

However, two stood tall throughout the entire tour. The IMCA Hobby Stocks were dominated by a very consistent and strong finishing Brandon Bombardo of New Prague, Minnesota. Bombardo ended with a fourteen point lead over second place finisher Kyler Satran of Minot, Minot North Dakota. Third place saw Wallace, Nebraska's Tanner Clough, while Torquay, Saskatchewan's Connor Hansen took fourth, Jason Ruby of Minot, North Dakota would round out the top five.

In the IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds it was heartbreak for Darren Medler as he would lose the points lead on the very last night to Gabriel Deschamp. Third place would go to Medicine Lake, Montana's Tate Johnson, while Minot's Kelly Henderson would claim fourth and Robby Rosselli fifth. Nine points would eventually determine the winner and third was only a few points behind as well.
